COVID-19 Update
After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 AdvaMed CEO Summit and Accelerate MedTech Summit due to the coronavirus outbreak. This action reflects an abundance of concern for everyone’s personal health at this time. The state of California has declared a public health emergency following numerous confirmed cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19); and, the Orange County Board of Supervisors has declared a local emergency after a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the area. We have begun to see an increase in the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the U.S., cancellations of many major conferences, and significant travel restrictions for many businesses, including medtech companies.
We are currently exploring the potential to reschedule the Summit’s events for a later date. We are working through a series of options and will keep you informed as these plans develop.
Meanwhile, the number one priority for AdvaMed’s Events and Education team will remain the health and safety of our event participants. For more information on COVID-19, please visit the CDC web page here.
If you have any questions regarding the Summit or other AdvaMed events, please contact our team at advamedevents@advamed.org.
